12.16.045 Kettle Falls Happy Dell Park.
The following rules apply specifically to the use of Happy Dell Park, and are in addition to the other rules of this chapter:
A. Any use of Happy Dell Park should be consistent with the intent that Happy Dell Park is a place for:
1. Family activities and gatherings,
2. A place for children to play, and
3. A place for people to have social gatherings.
B. The park shall not be closed to general access by the public during normal operating hours, except for campers under KFMC 12.16.030(E), or for variances allowed under other sections of this chapter.
C. Local concessionaires should be given priority over concessionaires from outside the area. The business address of any concessionaires may be used to determine where the concessionaire is from.
D. Vehicles should not be parked on the inbounds portion of the baseball field. Driving on any field portions of the park should be kept to a minimum.
E. The application for events at the park shall set forth the restrictions and duties of the uses of the park by the applicant.
F. If there is a park committee formed exclusively for oversight of the Happy Dell Park, there should be one position held by, or open for, a member of the Trousdell family. (Ord. 1767, §1, 2018).
