Any violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed thirty days or by both such fine and imprisonment, and in addition the court may order that further action shall be enjoined by a permanent injunction.
