All and every kind of business authorized by law and transacted and carried on in the city which fails to obtain a license prior to commencing business in the city must pay directly to the city a penalty of $4.00 per month for each month in which business was conducted in the city until such licenses are purchased. This penalty will be in addition to the annual license fee mentioned in KFMC 5.04.050. (Ord. 1806, §§1, 2, 2022).
