The purpose and intent of the Multiple Family Residential District is to provide for a higher intensity residential area that integrates certain quasi-commercial uses. The intent is to provide transition in land use from quiet single family residential neighborhoods to the busier area where services are provided. Commercial uses allowed are of a character unlikely to develop general concentrations of traffic, crowds of customers and general outdoor advertising. Residents in this district prefer and require convenience to services and employment. Maximum residential density is approximately 22 dwellings per net acre.
